What can we say about Sweet Sterling?  We are so lucky that we were chosen to be his new family.  We have had Sterling for three weeks and one day.  Sterling came to us with a few issues that needed our love and attention.  He has a skin condition, separation anxiety and he loves to jump (only to give kisses and show his love).  After just three short weeks he is fitting in beautifully. His skin condition has improved greatly, he doesn’t cry when we leave the house anymore (except of course when he can hear us in the front yard),  and his jumping is getting so much better.

His Weimaraner brother Blue (who is nine) took some time to adjust to having this new being in his home that got a lot of attention.  Every day they get a little bit closer and we are sure that soon enough they will be cuddling together.  Sterling enjoys his daily walks with Blue and running around his new back yard and visiting Timmy the bunny in his cage.  We have discovered something new about Sterling that we just love.  When he lies on his bed, we lay his blanket on him and every time we do it, he moans loudly as if to say “thank you”.  Sterling is the sweetest, most loving dog and we are so grateful to the Ontario Weimaraner Rescue. We are especially appreciative of Sonia for allowing us to adopt Sterling and for being such a great support system.  We appreciate what you do so much.  We are so pleased we waited to find the right dog to adopt.
