WARNING

Rescued dogs can have problems (digging, chewing, and barking, to name a few). Leaving them unsupervised and unconfined in your house or car could be destructive and costly. BE PREPARED. We cannot predict the length of a dog\’s stay in a foster home. It could be days or months. An exceptional level of patience and commitment is required. We will work with foster homes to lessen any stress this might cause and, if possible or necessary, move dogs when openings occur in other foster homes.

I verify that all of the above statements made by me are true and that, if selected to foster, I will abide by the mandate, policies and decisions of the Weimaraner Association of Canada - Rescue (WAC - Rescue). In submitting this form, I acknowledge that I understand that any dogs placed with me in foster care are the property of the WAC - Rescue until legally adopted. A foster dog may be removed from my home by WAC - Rescue if required. A foster dog may not be placed elsewhere or placed for adoption without the proper authorization of the Regional or National Coordinator or a designated Rescuer with WAC - Rescue. I understand that in offering to volunteer with WAC - Rescue I am making a commitment to the organization. If a time comes when I cannot keep that commitment, or I must suspend my activities with the group for a period, I undertake to keep the National Coordinator informed of my change in status as promptly as possible via email (rescue@wacrescue.com). Any prolonged periods of inactivity (12 months) without communication from a volunteer will result in their being dropped from the active list until the volunteer re-initiates contact.
Before proceeding, we need to make sure a real person is submitting this form. Thank you for your understanding.
