Diesel has been Adopted!!!!!!!

Diesel waiting for his new family

Congratulations to Diesel on finding his forever family! Isn’t he a cutie, waiting so nicely.

Diesel’s new family includes a dog, a cat and three boys. His new family plans to do some agility work with him which his foster thinks is a great idea. And his family spends a lot of time at their place on a lake so Diesel will learn to swim with the boys.

Diesel is a young male, neutered Weim that was a stray in a shelter in Morden, Manitoba. WAC Rescue was contacted by the shelter as they could only keep him for five days and then he would have to be put down. It was obvious that Diesel had not lived in a house as he had to be house trained and get used to living with people. The shelter in Morden thinks he is about a year old.

Our sincerest thanks goes to Christy, Diesel’s foster mom, who put a lot of time and effort into working with Diesel to get him ready for a forever family.

We wish Diesel and his new family all the best and look forward to seeing lots of pictures.

Although Diesel has been adopted, and we are very happy for him, we still have his bills to pay. These bills include neutering, first shots, basics like leash, collar and coat as well as the expenses incurred while he was fostered by Christy which include food, follow up vet visits, and other incidentals. These expenses came to $1100. And even with the Adoption Donation from his new owners, we can’t continue to save these Weimaraners without your support.
