DA-ZEE – SASKATOON, SK
Da-zee is a 9 year old Weimaraner in Saskatoon looking for a new home.
Currently, she is alone with 2 other dogs for most days for 4 to 8 hours; she is not restricted in the house. She has not been in cars much. Her owners say that she has a high prey drive and that she is difficult to walk on the leash. She tends to run away when off leash. She has not been exposed to children with her current family who have had her for 4 years. Her owner states that she growls at other dogs but 4 years ago she was fine traveling with another Weimaraner and stayed with a foster for at least a week with 3 other Weimaraners and cats.
We are looking for a foster home or an adopter who will help her live a good life for the rest of her years.
If you haven’t completed an adoption application with us, please do so here: http://wacrescue.com/adopting-a-weim…/adoption-applications/
If you are interested in fostering Da-zee, please submit a foster application if you haven’t already done so: http://wacrescue.com/foster-volunteer-application/
RIGGS – MELANCTHON, ON
Riggs is a 75 pound, 4 year old neutered male that requires a Weimaraner-experienced home with older children (ages 15 and up) or no children. He has a high prey drive so there can be no small animals such as cats. He needs someone who will provide additional training and regular exercise.
He currently lives with other dogs so we’re not sure how he’d be as an only dog. He will use a crate but does not love it. He gets stressed in the car and is difficult …to walk on leash and will run away when off leash (prey drive).
He loves people but can be overly exuberant.
If you are interested in Riggs and have not submitted an adoption application with us, please do so at http://wacrescue.com/adopting-a-weim…/adoption-applications/
